Kane Springs is a family oriented campground and the following rules have been established so that everyone may enjoy their visit with
us. Please be sure that all guests have read and fully understand these policies, procedures and overall rules.  Anyone failing to abide by
the rules will be asked to leave. Registered guests are responsible for their children and visitor's behavior, safety and whereabouts at all
times while within Kane Springs property.

Kane Springs reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.  Kane Springs will not be responsible for
damage to personal property, accidents or personal injuries to guests, their children and their visitors, such as but not limited to:  fire,
flood, theft, or loss of valuables.  Disregard or violation of these campground policies, or any federal, state, county or local laws or
regulations, will result in immediate eviction of registered guests, their children and their visitors from the campground without refund.  
Registered guests, their children, and their visitors may also be subject to additional fines from the National Park Service or other law
enforcement authority’s.

1)    General
•        ILLEGAL DRUGS/SUBSTANCES, LEUDE OR INDECENT BEHAVIOR ARE PROHIBITED.
•       Alcoholic Beverage Policy:  Although Kane Springs is not a policing authority, we abide by all local, state and federal laws regarding alcohol consumption.  
       Kane Springs strictly adheres to alcohol consumption laws, such as but not limited to underage drinking, open containers and driving under the influence.  
       Should alcoholic consumption be the cause of disruptive behavior, Kane Springs reserves the right to contact the proper authorities immediately, and all
       parties involved will be asked to leave.  Kane Springs, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to determine the definition of “disruptive behavior.”
•        Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Quiet hours are strictly enforced.
•        Gasoline generators are prohibited.
•        Loud noise mufflers are prohibited.
•        Kane Springs will allow safe operation of off road vehicles and ATV’s on the premises.  Kane Springs will not be responsible for any accidents, personal
       injury, and/or property damage in conjunction with any off road vehicles, ATV’s and such.  All riders operating an off road vehicle, ATV and such, must be
       at least sixteen years old, and shall not exceed 5 MPH anywhere in the campsite.  Kane Springs requires all riders adhere to any and all generally accepted
       off road and ATV safety practices.
•        The use of fireworks is prohibited (including sparklers.)
•        Chainsaws and axes are prohibited.
•        The discharge or display of firearms is prohibited. All firearms must be properly cased and safely stored in your vehicle while on campground property.
•         Trespassing on other campsites is prohibited. Please respect the privacy of others.
•        Keep valuables locked in your vehicle. Kane Springs will not be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property.
•        Follow the instructions and direction of the campground staff and representatives at all times.
•        Please supervise your children and visitors. You will be held responsible for the actions of your children and visitors.
•        Leave your campsite as clean as you found it. You are responsible for the removal and proper disposal of all trash from your campsite.

2)     Campsites:
•        Tent Sites are limited to TWO tents and TWO vehicles per site respectively.
•        RV/Motor home sites are limited to ONE RV or Motor home and ONE vehicle per site respectively.
•        Travel Trailer sites are limited to ONE travel trailer and ONE vehicle per site respectively.
•        Please make arrangements at Welcome Center upon registration for additional vehicles.

3)     Environmental:
•        Littering is prohibited (including cigarette butts). Please thoroughly extinguish cigarettes, wet the butts with water and dispose of the wet butts with the trash.
•        Do not harm trees. Nailing trees for hanging hooks is prohibited.
•        Picking flowers, gathering or digging up plants or trees is prohibited.
•        Taking branches off live trees for firewood or marshmallow sticks is prohibited.
•        The collection of firewood from the forest or cutting firewood is prohibited.
•        Do not use water supply spigots for cleaning.
•        Everyone must use restrooms to ensure proper sanitation.
•        Remove all trash from the campsite and dispose of it at the solid waste handling facilities at the campground entrance.

4)     Wildlife:
•        Feeding wildlife is prohibited.
•        Respect wildlife. Do not chase, harm or trap wild animals.

5)     Visitors:
•        Visitors are permitted between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
•        All visitors must register
at Welcome Center.
•        While on Kane Springs property, visitors must display visitor pass on the left side vehicle dashboard at all times.

6)     Pets:
•        Pets must be registered at time of check-in.
•        Maximum of two (2) pets per campsite.
•        Pet waste must be picked up and properly disposed of.
•        Pets are not allowed in buildings.
•        Pets must be leashed or restrained at all times.
•        Pets must not be left unattended.
•        Pets are subject to the same quiet hours as humans.
•        You will be held responsible for any damage or harm caused by your pet.

7)     Traffic Safety:
•        Campground speed limit is 5 MPH. Speed limit is strictly enforced
•        Some campground roads are one way. Follow one way signs and arrows
•        Vehicles are only permitted on gravel roads and not beyond barriers.


8)     Fire Safety:
•        Campfires must be kept small and within the designated location.
•        Do not leave fires unattended.
•        Do not relocate designated fire location.
•        The use of accelerants or flammable liquids for starting campfires is prohibited (gasoline, fuel oil, kerosene or grill lighter fluid).
•        Do not put glass, metal or plastic materials into the fire or leave these materials in the designated fire location.  Recycle these materials in the appropriate
          recycling bins at the solid waste handling facilities at the campground entrance.
•        Campfire must be fully extinguished when not attended.
•        Fires out by 10:00 PM. Strictly Enforced.

9)     Vehicles & Camp; Parking:
•        All vehicles must be registered with make, model, year, license plate number and state of registration at the Welcome Center at the time of registration.
•        All vehicles on the campground property must properly display a current vehicle pass on the left side of the vehicle dashboard while on the premises.
•        All motorcycles, off road vehicles, ATV’s and such must be licensed.
•        Campsite parking is limited to ONE vehicle per tent. Please make arrangements at Welcome Center for additional vehicles.
•        Please honor all NO PARKING signs.
•        Parked vehicles must not obstruct traffic flow through the campground.

10)   Recreational Vehicles / Trailers:
•        Only ONE RV, Motor home or Trailer Unit is permitted per campsite.
•        No appliances are permitted to be stored outside of the RV, Motor home or Trailer Unit.
•        No expansion or additions to trailers are permitted.
•        No planting or landscaping around RV, Motor home and Trailer Units is permitted.
•        No storage compartments shall be placed on the campsites.
•        RV’s are only permitted to drain wastewater at the assigned site.
•        The space under trailers is not permitted for storage.
•        RV’s, Motor homes and Trailer Units must not obstruct traffic flow through the campground.
•        RV’s, Motor homes and Trailer Unit stays are limited to two weeks (14 consecutive days).

11)   Bathhouse & Camp; Restroom Facilities:
•        Please help keep the bathroom facilities clean. Please clean up after yourself, your children and your visitors.
•        Please be sensitive to the needs of other campers when using the shower facilities. If there are people waiting to use the showers, please keep your
         shower short.

12)   Reservations:
•        To hold a reservation, a deposit of one night's stay per campsite is required.
•        You may reserve on a VISA, Master Card, or Discover, with the first night's stay automatically being charged to your credit card. Money orders are also
         accepted for holding a reservation; however, it must be received within 10 days of your reservation (failure to do so will result in a canceled reservation.)
•        No personal checks are accepted.
•        No reservation is confirmed without a deposit.
•        Phone reservations are taken from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. MST

13)   Cancellation Policy
•        Canceling with less than 7 days before scheduled arrival: Entire deposit is non-refundable.
•        Canceling with more than 7 days before scheduled arrival: $10.00 of the deposit is non-refundable.
•        Check-in/Check-out Times
                      o        Check-in time for camp sites: 12:00 noon - 10:00 p.m.
                      o        Check-out time for camp sites: 12:00 noon or before
                      o        Late arrivals are not guaranteed.
                      o        If you have a reservation and cannot arrive before 10:00 p.m., please call.  This will ensure your campsite will be held for you.

14)   Refunds or Rain Checks:
•        There are no refunds or rain check for any reasons such as, but not limited to early departure or inclement weather.

15)   Pricing:
•        Prices subject to change without notice.

16)   Changes:
•        Kane Springs reserves the right to make changes at any time, in its sole discretion to these policies, procedures and overall rules.
